Camp Fees

Camp fees for summer 2020 are as follows.

Regular Price
  • Preschool Camps: Fees are listed on the individual camp pages (Pashoshim, Katan, and Kitat Ha’ashara).
  • Regular 1-week camp sessions for grades K-8: $475
  • Week 4 price for grades K-8 (price for Week 4 is lower because there’s no camp on July 3): $380
  • Habima Hess Circus Camp: $515 per week
  • Musical Theater: $2060 for 4-week session
  • Yoetz: $445 for 4-week session

Discounted Price for APJCC Full Center Members, Summer Members, and Preschool Families
    • Preschool Camps: Fees are listed on the individual camp pages (Pashoshim, Katan, and Kitat Ha’ashara).
    • Regular 1-week camp sessions for grades K-8: $395
    • Week 4 price for grades K-8 (price for Week 4 is lower because there’s no camp on July 3):  $315
    • Habima Hess Circus Camp: $430 per week
    • Musical Theater: $1720 for 4-week session
    • Yoetz: $375 for 4-week session

Enrollment Deadline

Last Day to Register: May 22, 2020
Campers must be registered and paid in full by May 22, 2020. Registrations received after May 22 are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. Registrations received after May 22 must be received no later than 2 weeks prior to a session start date.

This allows us to staff appropriately for the summer.

 

Camp Discounts

Early Bird Discount:

Enroll by April 3 2020, and receive $10 off per week enrolled.

Multi Session Discount:

Sign up for multiple weeks of camp and receive a discount! The Multi Session Discount is based on the number of weeks per camp your family attends. The Multi Session Discount will only apply to your first order; additional weeks of camp added after the first order may not qualify. The Multi Session discount is not available for preschool camps (Pashoshim, Katan, and Kitat Ha’ashara).
6 Weeks: $50
8 Weeks: $75
10 Weeks: $100
12+ Weeks: $125

Member Pricing:

Full Center Members and Summer Members of the JCC pay a reduced fee for camp, as do families who have a child enrolled in the APJCC Preschool. The child must be a JCC member during the time they are attending camp in order to qualify for the discount. Refund Policy

  • Cancellations and withdrawals must be submitted in writing to Alix Davidson, Camp Director, at alix@apjcc.org.
  • Cancellation of entire registration prior to June 1, 2020 will result in a full refund (less the non-refundable deposit). After June 1, no refunds will be granted (unless we have to cancel camp due to COVID-19).
  • We are aware that you may be concerned that camp might not happen this year because of COVID-19. If we are unable to run camp this summer, you will be given the option of a full refund, using your payment to reserve your spot for next summer, or donating all or part of your tuition to support Camp Shalom.
  • If Camp Shalom needs to run on an altered schedule, you will be presented with the option to change camp weeks, receive a full refund, use your payment to reserve your spot for next year, or to donate your tuition to support Camp Shalom.
  • No refunds are given for vacations, sick days, or other absences from camp. Unused camp days cannot be refunded or substituted with additional camp days.
  • Subject to availability, a registration transfer from one Camp Shalom program to another may be made at no additional charge up to two weeks prior to the original camp start date through a written request (email, letter or fax) to the Camp Director. Transfer requests submitted within two weeks of the original camp start date may be possible and will be subject to a $25 administrative fee.
  • In its sole and absolute discretion, Camp Shalom may withdraw a camp participant from camp for any reason. If Camp Shalom withdraws a camp participant from camp, a pro-rated refund of camp registration fees will be granted for the period after the withdrawal. No credits or refunds will be issued if your child is asked to leave Camp Shalom for breaking the camper behavior contract.
  • If a camp participant is voluntarily withdrawn after a camp begins by a parent or guardian, a pro-rated refund of camp registration fees will not be granted by Camp Shalom.
  • If Camp Shalom cancels a camp for any reason, you will receive a credit or a full refund.

 

Financial Aid

Camp Shalom provides a limited number of camperships (need-based scholarships) to campers who qualify. Scholarship applications for summer camp are due on April 24, 2020. Applicants will be informed of scholarship decisions by May 15. To apply for a scholarship, please submit the following items to the camp office or camp@apjcc.org:

All scholarship applications should be submitted to Carolina Sandoval, in the APJCC Membership Office or by email to carolina@apjcc.org. All items must be submitted in order to apply for financial aid. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Please contact the camp office at 408.357.7416 or camp@apjcc.org with any questions.
