Cook up a storm in Camp Shalom’s culinary arts programs!  Culinary campers also get to swim every day in Camp Shalom’s heated outdoor pool.

COST:  JCC Members $400,  Non-Members $475 (per 1-week session)


Please bring a light lunch with you every day. We will be eating our own creations but campers also still need to bring their own lunch.Please notify the Camp Office if your camper has any food allergies or dietary restrictions.

Kids in the Kitchen

Entering Kindergarten-3rd Grade
Week 2: 6/17-6/21
Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm

Learn kitchen basics from seasoning and stirring to blending and baking. Campers will cook and eat their own creations all while working together to learn about healthy eating habits and kitchen safety.




Great Camp Shalom Baking Show

Entering 4th-8th Grade
Week 4: 7/1-7/5 (no camp 7/4)

Campers will learn baking basics and will have the chance to learn about breads, cakes, cookies, and more. Campers will have the chance to show off and chow down on their signature bakes, technical challenges, and showstopper creations.



Movie Food

Entering 4th-8th Grade
Week 8: 7/29-8/2
Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm

Campers will gain hands-on cooking experience making recipes inspired by some of our favorite films from Ratatouille to Moana. Each day will feature recipes from different movies and campers will work together to create (and eat) culinary masterpieces. Campers will focus on kitchen safety, teamwork, and healthy eating habits.
