Need to drop off your child at camp early, and/or pick them up late? Camp Shalom offers Extended Care for campers in grades K-8, and Kif Kef for campers ages 2-4 years old.
Extended Care (grades K-8)
The JCC youth lounge, Club J, is home to Camp Shalom’s Extended Care for children in grades K-8.
Hours are 7:30am-9:00am and 4:00-6:00pm.
You can register by the week for unlimited access. For occasional drop-in care, you will be automatically charged the following week. There is a one-hour minimum charge for drop-in Extended Care.

Kif Kef (ages 2-4 years)
Our extended care for preschoolers is called Kif Kef, which is a Hebrew word meaning “extra fun.”
Kif Kef is available for Katan and Kitat Ha’ashara campers.*
Kif Kef Hours: 7:30-9:00am and 12:30-6:00pm (minimum enrollment required). Kif Kef block rate is available for 7:30-9:00am. Hourly Kif Kef rates are also available.
You will receive Kif Kef forms in the parent packet once your child is registered for camp. Rates are different than the extended care rates for older campers.
* Please note: Kif Kef is not available for children enrolled in our Pashoshim program. Pashoshim campers (ages 18-24 months) must be morning or full day only.
