Traditional & Focused Programs - 2026 Programs
Yeledim (rising TK & Kindergarteners)
For campers who will be starting TK & Kindergarten in the Fall of 2026. Yeledim helps prepare children for the transition from preschool to TK and Kindergarten. Discover what it mean to be a BIG KID at Camp Shalom. Our compassionate staff understand that this can be an exciting and challenging transition for some campers. The Yeledim day includes a designated time for transition and relaxation after lunch. Campers swim during the week and have a dedicated space to do their programming. Our Yeledim program will run 8-weeks from June 8th – July 31st, on a weekly Monday-Friday registration. This program has a 1:6 ratio for staff to campers.
Rising TK Families: We encourage you to call the Camp Shalom Administration at (408)357-7416, to discuss if your camper is ready for a full-day summer camp program. Expectations for rising TK & Kindergarteners are:
Can your camper utilize the restroom independently (wiping themselves, clothes on and off)? Or for the most part (we can assist if truly needed, please know our front-line counselors are 16-21 years of age)
Can they change clothes on their own? Campers will swim twice per week, and will need to change out of their swim clothes. Think about if an accident occurs as well.
Can your child make it through a full day of camp from 9:00am-4:00pm? We do not have a naptime, and are continuing doing activities throughout the day.
REGISTER HERE for Summer 2026
Camp hours are 9:00am-4:00pm. Extended Care is available for AM from 8:00-9:00am and/or PM from 4:00-6:00pm.

Circus returns for summer 2026 with 888 Monkeys! With two, 2-week sessions! and
NEW for 2026, a 1-week program during our Post-Camp!
2-Week Sessions
Come one, come all!! It’s… Circus Time! Join us in a two-week session of Circus Arts. The first week of each session will focus on skill building in the following areas: Partner Acrobatics, Tumbling, Aerial, Ball and Rope Walking, many forms of manipulative miscellanea (a.k.a., juggling), Physical Comedy, and other circus skills. For the second week we will focus on act and show creation. After one week of exploring circus disciplines, campers choose their favorite activities to focus on. As such, campers have a strong voice and personal connection with regard to content and an opportunity to work collaboratively towards a common goal. See you at the circus with our friends from 888 Monkeys!
No two days (much less, two sessions) are ever alike, so sign up for both and let campers deep dive into multiple disciplines. One session may be aerials and wire walking, the next may be juggling and comedy. No matter what circus skills campers choose, coaches/mentors will stress the intangibles, such as: the link between daily practice and improvement, personal bests, non-linear growth/progress, collaboration, and celebrating small victories.
Session 1: 7/6 – 7/17 (two-week session)
Session 2: 7/20 – 7/31 (two-week session)
